Sourced from four vineyards in different sub-AVA. Only a small portion, 7% of the French oak is new. The nose is bright, waxy pomegranate and dusty cherry. Fresh green herb emerges with some air. The fruit was whole-cluster pressed and was raised in stainless steel and oak, no newer than second-fill. 28% of the wine experienced malolactic fermentation. The nose is bright resinous lemon with a firm mineral backbone yielding notes of clover honey after some air.
