2016 Pinot Noir Tete de Cuvée

There’s a greater play of oak than seen in the other 2016 pinots from Denison and this means the fruit takes a back seat to the cedary and savory, graphite-scented aromas. The palate has a svelte and powerful fruit core with strong oak squeezing it tight for now. Mocha finish. Needs time. Try from 2021. Screw cap. 93 Points
