2017

  • 2017 Kiff Vineyard Rosé of Pinot Noir

The 2017 Rosé of Pinot Noir was produced from fruit harvested specifically for rosé.  The fruit was sourced entirely from the Kiff Vineyard; clonal composition of the blend is 62% Pommard and 38% clone 777.  This wine displays brilliant pale ruby color with wonderful aromas of cherry and Ambrosia apple. Flavors of cherry, fresh raspberry, and an underlying hint of pink grapefruit and minerality persist into rich mid-palate volume.  Bracing acidity creates beautiful balance into the long, seamless finish.

The resulting wine is dark ruby in color. The resulting wine has dark ruby color, flavors of dark berries, black cherry, and hints of blueberry, pine forest floor, and fresh earth.  It displays dense mid-palate volume, velvety tannins, and a long seamless finish.

  • 2016 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Fruit for the 2016 Willamette Valley pinot noir was sourced from three different vineyards, located in the Eola-Amity Hills and Yamhill-Carlton AVAs.  From Kiff Vineyard, in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, we used clones 667, 777 and Pommard; from Johnson Ridge Vineyard, in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA, clones 777 and Pommard; from Cassin Vineyard, also in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, the Wadenswil clone.  Each vineyard and clone contributes a unique characteristic to the blend, adding to the overall depth and complexity of the wine.  The resulting wine is dark ruby in color and displays deep aromas of ripe mixed berries and black cherry. With hints of mineral and spice, the ripe, velvety tannins provide structure for rich, mouth-filling volume. Flavors of dark red and blue fruit persist into a long, lingering finish.

  • 2015 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Each brings unique characteristics to the blend, as clones such as Wadenswil and 114 were introduced.  The resulting wine displays aromas of ripe Italian plums, cherry, and raspberry.  With a hint of spice and chocolate, it is mouth-filling, with velvety tannins.

  • 2015 Tête de Cuvée Pinot Noir

Tête de Cuvée Pinot Noir is only produced when we are able to create a blend that transcends our single-vineyard wines.  This was the case in 2015, as we were able to blend components from Kiff Vineyard, Johnson Ridge Vineyard, and for the first time, we included the Wadenswil clone from Cassin Vineyard.  The resulting wine is multi-layered and refined with rich flavors of ripe raspberry, pomegranate, Black and Bing cherry, and a hint of mineral, cola, and spice.  This wine displays dense mid-palate volume, velvety tannins, and a long, seamless finish.
