We have been very fortunate to have partnered with wonderful small family vineyards throughout the Willamette Valley.

2019 Tête de Cuvée Pinot Noir
This month, we’re proud to feature the 2019 Tête de Cuvée Pinot Noir, rated 94 points by JamesSuckling.com. This exquisite wine is a masterful blend of fruit from Björnson Vineyard (Eola-Amity Hills AVA), Claygate Vineyard (Ribbon Ridge AVA), and Johnson Ridge Vineyard (Eola-Amity Hills AVA).
Rich flavors of Italian plum, dark cherry, and ripe raspberry shine through, complemented by hints of cranberry and river rock for added complexity.
The 2019 growing season, with its cooler temperatures and well-timed rainfall, allowed the fruit to ripen beautifully. Aged for 13 months in French oak barrels, with 17% new oak, this Pinot Noir boasts velvety tannins, a dense mid-palate, and a long, lingering finish. Bottled unfined and unfiltered under a twist-off closure to ensure purity, this wine is the epitome of elegance and refinement. With only 50 cases produced, this is a rare opportunity to experience the art of winemaking at its finest.
